It features your typical 2-3-4 machine with an automatic rolled hem. It has color-coded threading, a breakaway looper with external adjustments. It is quite powerful and can sew up to 1,500 stitches per minute on both light and heavyweight fabric. In general, this machine has a variety of different features that are adjustable and allows you to truly work on any size project with any fabric.

There are a few safety features included in this serger sewing machine as well. There is a safety switch so that the machine will not run when the swing cover is open.

Our Opinion

Serger machines are extremely popular for sewing perfect hems and seams. With their precision, their features can be more difficult, especially for beginner sewers. This entry-level Juki portable serger sewing machine is perfect for travel and for new serger sewer. For an entry-level sewing machine, it is on the pricier side, but compared to other serger machines, it’s right around the stand price point.

All the reviews have been great and the only downside we found with this machine is that it is an entry-level machine and therefore experienced sewers may find that it doesn’t have all the features you desire.
