Singer is one of the most popular brands of sewing machines for the last 150 years. Their machines are known to be at the top in terms of standard and most of the time, in price as well. Singer simply makes some of the best machines out there and this Singer Tradition sewing machine was designed after the traditional and first models of Singer sewing machines, but of course with a few upgrades.
Some sewing machines are better at certain sewing projects than others and this Singer 2277 is really nice at basic embroidery with an automatic embroidery needle threader and 23 built-in stitches.
The Singer 2277 will catch the eye of an embroider. With its automatic embroidery needle threader, it makes the embroidery process happen with great ease and save you a lot of time as well. This machine also features adjustable stitch length and width which keeps seams strong and prevents bunching from occurring on a variety of different types of fabric. It has a fully automatic 1-step buttonhole that provides a professional appearance to your sewing projects and ideal if you’re planning on selling some of your work.
Along with the 23 built-in stitches, it comes with a total of 97 stitch applications, and with the heavy-duty metal frame, you can rely on this durable machine to deliver skip-free sewing.

This machine from Singer is a good one. Yes, there are other models from Singer that have more features and are a bit more advanced, but this is a great standard, traditional sewing machine you can rely on for years to come. It’s especially great when it comes to embroidery work as it features an automatic embroidery needle threader, which if you’re an avid embroiderer, this will save you a lot of time. With that being said, if you’re not into embroidery at all, there’s probably a few other sewing machines that are better for you.
